Fried Morning Glory

morning glory 1 morning glory 2

Fried morning glory is a meal I order quite often from one of the restaurants I frequent in Burma because it’s cheap and vegetarian (well, I think they might use oyster sauce, but it’s vegetarian enough for me), so when I felt like I’d been eating a little too much meat lately, I stumbled over to my favourite sidewalk restaurant on Rambuttri and had some fried morning glory.

It wasn’t as good as the morning glory I get in Burma, actually, which is rare, because usually the food in Bangkok is unequivocally better than any food available in Burma, but in a I-just-need-something-vegetarian pinch, it did the trick.
