Way way waaaaaaaay back, when I first moved to Korea and Korean food scared me a bit and I couldn’t read enough Korean to figure out what I should order, I used to order this a lot. It’s just curry with rice, and it always has potatoes, carrots and onions mixed in. Sometimes, there might be some meat and/or some peas in your curry deopbap, so if you’re a vegetarian, be warned!
In the nine years since I first moved to Korea, I’ve discovered more Korean foods that I prefer, but I ordered this the other day out of a sense of nostalgia.
